Viral support for your cat through systemic integrity
All cats are exposed to different viruses during their lives. The younger or the older the animal the greater the susceptibility to illness - as is the case with humans.
When a cats immune system is battling 'invaders' it can affect the mouth, nasal passages, sinuses, and upper airways in cats and kittens. Breathing can become hampered, and airways can become increasingly blocked and congested. Conventional vaccines are not recommended for young kittens or for pregnant queens, leaving these cats at greater risk for ill health.
Symptoms may be mild or severe and in both cases unpleasant for the poor animal. Symptoms are often similar to that of a head cold in humans such as sneezing, nasal discharge, fever, rhinitis (inflammation of the nasal mucous membranes) runny eyes, salivation, ulceration of the tongue & palate are also regularly seen in cats. Lameness in cats, also known as limping syndrome, can also be a symptom. Feline health can be further hampered by secondary conditions.
The Natural Way
There is a lot that can be done naturally to help boost your cat’s immune system. A strong, healthy immune system is the best ‘armor’ you can give your animal. To help boost your cat’s immune system, make sure you offer a healthy diet – (preferably organic) high quality cat food. Your cat should also get plenty of exercise in the fresh air and sunshine. Don’t forget to give your cat fresh water – and always make sure water bowls and food dishes are washed and kept clean and free of germs. Although it is virtually impossible, try as hard as you can to limit your cat’s contact with stray cats, as they may be carriers of cat flu and other germs.

How has FCV CatFlu Protect helped others?
"My cat Alaska just had six kittens, I was worried about their susceptibility to illness seeing as they were so young and fragile. I found this product on your site and even my vet thought it was great, they are all going strong - THANK YOU"
"Our seven year old tabby is pregnant. Last week she began sneezing and we could tell she was incredibly congested and blocked. My wife and I were very worried - we didn't want to give her any harmful vaccine because she was carrying kittens. We were told about your product and gave her a dose right away. I am so glad to report that she is doing fine now! No more sniffles and she has a sparkle in her eye! Many thanks indeed."
"We found three kittens in an abandoned well near our house. Our kids would not part with them, but we could tell they were rundown and not in a good state. They were hardly eating, and didn't look like they were developing properly. We decided to try and get them strong again - my wife is a part-time receptionist at a veterinary practice and she saw this product recommended to help a cat's immune system. All three kittens (Spike, Clarence and Fluffy) are doing well. Thank you from our whole family (including the furry members)!"
- Andy and Sue
"Just wonderful. I am a cat lover and constantly adopt new kittens and strays. First thing I do when I get a new addition is open my medicine cabinet and reach for this stuff!"
What are the Ingredients?
FCV Protect contains the following 100% homeopathic ingredients in equal parts and in therapeutic dosage::
Feline Calicivirus (30C) is a homeopathic nosode and is a homeopathic form of the Calicivirus. Homeopathic nosodes support the body's natural resilience to harmful agents. They differ to conventional vaccines in that they are usually manufactured without using the crude form of the virus (as in many conventional vaccines.) Conventional vaccination seldom supports immunity without numerous subsequent booster shots.
Borax (30C) is a white crystalline mineral, in homeopathic potency it is mainly used for mouth ulcers and cold sores. Cats that would benefit from this remedy are usually impatient, easily irritable - with expressions that are anxious and earnest. They are easily startled by noise and their sleep is easily disturbed. Physical symptoms relate to the mucus membrane of the mouth, nose, gastric tract and genitals.
Phosphorus (30C) is mostly derived from North Africa in volcanic regions and is commonly known as calcium phosphate. It is commonly used for severe coughs and a sore throat.
Pulsatilla (30C): in homeopathic potency this ingredient can be used for eye conditions and tooth hygeine. It is also used for cough and colds, congested catarrh and blocked noses.
All the above ingredients are contained in the Homeopathic Pharmacopoeia of the United States (HPUS). FCV Protect is registered with the FDA.
Sucrose: inactive ingredient
FCV Protect contains no gluten, artificial flavours, colours or preservatives.
Safe for use during pregnancy and nursing.
Our products are animal-cruelty free and individual ingredients are well-researched and are natural, safe and effective.
How do I use FCV CatFlu Protect?
Directions: Sprinkle one pinch on the tongue once a day for three days, beginning at 12 weeks and repeating annually or when your cat has been exposed to possible infection. When there is risk of infection, FCV Protect may be administered to kittens younger than 12 weeks - this remedy is safe even for newborn kittens and pregnant queens.
Acute: Sprinkle one pinch on the tongue every hour until symptoms subside.
Caution: Please consult your veterinarian should symptoms persist. While some viral infections lend themselves to home treatment, others, including Feline Calicivirus (especially when the cat is anorexic) should ideally be monitored by your vet.
How long until I see results?
Results may vary, due to a number of influential factors and some cats will respond sooner than others. When used preventatively, FCV Protect should provide protection and systemic support within the first week. During an acute attack, improvement should be noticed within 5 - 10 doses, over time FCV Protect will then act in a supportive capacity to systemic balance and harmony. Best results are achieved when FCV Protect is used consistently and the recommendations regarding hygiene and preventative measures are taken into account. Be aware that lifestyle factors such as healthy nutrition, adequate exercise, clean water and fresh air will all play a part in maintaining overall health and routine vitality for your pets.
How long will a bottle last?
Each FCV Protect 20g bottle will last approximately 15 - 60 days (depending on frequency of use).

Keep your pet warm and comfortable. Provide plenty of fresh water and encourage eating by feeding small amounts of slightly warmed food often. Feed soft food as the cat with Calicivirus will have a sore mouth due to ulcers. By warming the food you will release more food odours and often this will stimulate your ailing pet's appetite. Make sure that you clean the eyes and nose three or four times daily, as necessary. Use EyeHeal for the conjunctivitis
Wash food bowls and litter trays with a 1:32 solution of household bleach. Try and contain the affected cat in an area away from other cats in the household and clean the are with the 1:32 bleach solution. The virus can remain active in the environment for 8 -10 days.
Consider using a burner with a few drops of eucalyptus oil in a little water to help with congestion or you can even try some steam therapy by running the shower and fogging up the bathroom and letting your pet breath in some of the vapours. Take care with the hot water though.
Keep your pet's immune system in peak condition with regular exercise, a natural, unprocessed diet and regular doses of PetAlive Immunity and Liver Support
If your pet has recurrent respiratory infections combine Respo-K with PetAlive Sinu-Rite.
If your pet hasn't eaten for more than 48 hours or if their condition continues to worsen seek advice from your vet.
Remember, cats that don't eat for an extended period of time can develop liver complications.
