How do I know if my pet has worms?
Cats:
A number of intestinal parasites will produce no visible symptoms in your cat at all – or at least not at first. Other parasites such as the tapeworm will usually be visible in your cat’s faeces and in the hair or on the skin around his or her anus. The segments of tapeworm resemble rice grains and can infect humans.
Other symptoms of worms in cats may include:

What are the Ingredients?
PetAlive Parasite Dr. contains the following 100% herbal and homeopathic ingredients:
Artemisia absinthinium, also called Wormwood, is a very well respected herb in both Eastern and Western herbal medicine. It is an excellent digestive tonic, helps to expel worms and has calmative and antibiotic properties.
Eugenia caryophyllata (Cloves): One of the strongest antibacterial spices, with anti-parasitic, antiseptic and bactericidal properties, cloves also contain strong detoxifying agents and can alleviate nausea, vomiting and flatulence.
Azadirachta indica (Neem): This tree is highly prized for making furniture as the wood is worm resistant. For the same reason, it is a highly prized Ayurvedic medicine. It has anti-inflammatory and antifungal properties and helps to expel worms and cleanse the system. Neem is also used to treat malaria.
Ruta graveolens, also known as the Herb of Grace, has been used for centuries for a variety of medicinal purposes, including high blood pressure, rheumatism, arthritis, epilepsy, asthma and cramps. It is included in our Parasite protector capsules for its ability to expel intestinal worms.
Rice powder: inactive ingredient
Parasite Dr. contains no gluten, artificial flavours, colours or preservatives.
How do I use PetAlive Parasite Dr?
Parasite Dr. comes in convenient capsule form.
Capsules may be swallowed whole by larger dogs. However, most owners find that it is easier and more convenient to open the capsule and mix the contents with wet food or a treat. This prevents stress to both pet and owner! Cats, especially, hate to have medicine forced down their throats and will happily eat the dried herb when it is mixed with a treat, a little fish or rolled into a butter ball.
Dosage: Cats and small dogs: 1/2 capsule twice daily.
Medium dogs: One capsule twice daily.
Large dogs: One to two capsules twice daily. Continue for approximately three weeks. Repeat when necessary.
Caution: Not recommended for kittens and puppies under 6 months or very elderly animals unless under veterinary supervisions. Avoid during pregnancy and nursing.

Because certain worms can be transmitted from animals to humans it is important that your pets are de-wormed regularly. Depending on your pet’s risk of infection; an indoor cat has less likelihood of getting a parasite infection than a dog that regularly walks in the park and interacts with other dogs, you will need to determine the best de-worming protocol. De-worm your low risk pet once a year but repeat de-worming every 3 months in high risk pets. It is always advisable to de-worm your pet after a stay at the kennels or cattery.
Always, always wash your hands after stroking or playing with your furry friend, this is especially important with children.
Discourage your pets from licking you and your family, this is one way that worm segments and worm eggs can be transmitted to you.
Clean up all dog poop everyday and keep your cat’s litter tray clean.
Remember to take 'poop packets' with you when you take your dog out for a walk. Apart from the health risk that unpicked up poop poses, it’s also a real shame to get dog poop on your shoes!!
