What to expect when your puppy or kitten is teething.
Around 4 months of age your puppy or kitten will lose its first set of teeth and the adult teeth will begin to emerge from the gums. This teething process continues on and off for several months and, as with human babies, is often a painful or uncomfortable process for your pet. There may be slight bleeding in the mouth and there is a possibility of secondary bacterial infections. You will be able to work out when your pet is teething from his increased chewing and biting on everything imaginable that is within reach. Never redecorate while there’s a teething pet in the house (and keep expensive shoes locked away)!!

Although sometimes tiresome, teething is a stage all kittens and puppies must go through and, happily, it will pass fairly soon. Relieving your pet’s pain at the same time as protecting your possessions from the sharp little teeth will be your top priorities!

The Natural Way
Natural remedies can be very effective in settling the discomfort associated with teething in puppies and kittens. By providing natural pain relief and soothing inflammation, they support your young pet during this developmental stage. Additionally, natural remedies work together with the body to ensure strong bones and teeth without causing any side effects. By using natural remedies you can boost your pet’s developing immune system thereby minimising the chances of a bacterial infection developing due to tooth loss.

What are PupTeeth Granules?
PupTeeth Granules are a natural herbal, homeopathic and tissue salt remedy for relieving the pain and discomfort of teething in puppies. The granules work equally well for other young animals like kittens. Specially formulated to suit young pets, PupTeeth granules are safe and very easy to administer.

As an added bonus, PupTeeth granules will also promote the growth and development of strong and healthy teeth and bones and are therefore recommended for all young pets during the early months.

How have PupTeeth Granules helped others?
"We adopted the tiniest, most adorable and happy-go-lucky little kitten several weeks ago and everything went well until she began teething. She was miserable and crying all the time. It was terrible to see this little animal in pain. Your PupTeeth Granules really solved the problem though- within minutes of giving her this remedy she was calmer and seemed far more comfortable. We have used the granules regularly since then and they have really been wonderful! It’s great to see her playing happily again."
- Carly

"PupTeeth has saved our worldly possessions from our teething puppy and his sharp, gnawing teeth. After he had chewed the spine of every single book on the bottom shelf of the book case I decided it was time to do something! We found your pets’ teething granules online and they have been super! No more chewing in the middle of the night! Thank you!"
- Dina

What are the Ingredients?

PupTeeth Granules contains the following 100% active homeopathic ingredients in equal parts and in therapeutic dosage:

Chamomilla (D3) is a well-known homeopathic remedy for colic and teething. Chamomilla is useful for relieving pain and soothing puppies and kittens that are uncomfortable and irritable.

Calc. Phos. (D6) is a biochemic tissue salt which restores strength to the body and is useful during times of growth and development. It is also excellent for improving circulation and the health of bones and teeth.

Mag. Phos (D6) is a biochemic tissue salt that acts as a natural pain-reliever and is especially useful for teething pains and digestive discomfort like cramps, flatulence and colic.

Passiflora (D3) is widely used homeopathically to promote calmness and serenity. This ingredient in homeopathic potency helps to relieve pain and is suited to pets that are suffering with 'niggles' of pain and discomfort.

Chamomilla (30C) in homeopathic potency this ingredient is used to address any inflammation or sensitive tissues such as gums and delicate membranes in the mouth.

Sucrose: inactive ingredient.

She now employs her love of animals, great and small, to the PetAlive family. She hopes to make pet owners aware of the benefits of natural remedies and support naturally healthy, naturally happy pets.
    Cathy's Tips:

  • Start brushing your pet’s teeth from day one. Even though your puppy or kitten will lose their first set of teeth, the sooner they get used to having their teeth brushed the greater your chances of protecting their pearly whites. Try and brush 3 to 4 times a week.
  • With very small puppies and kittens just put a small amount of pet-specific toothpaste on your little finger and gently rub this over their teeth and gums.
  • Your puppy or kitten might be a bit quiet and not all that keen on eating during the teething phase. Provide small amounts of easily chewable food often.
  • For the sake of your furniture invest in good quality, chewy toys. Ensure that these toys are pet-friendly and do not pose a choking hazard.
  • Keep a careful eye on your small breed dog during the teething process. Small breed dogs are predisposed to incomplete shedding of their deciduous teeth which will lead to dental health complications. If at 8 months of age your little pug or yorkie still as baby teeth seek veterinary advice as it may be necessary to extract this teeth to prevent dental disease.
  • Combine PupTeeth Granules with a course of PetAlive Immunity and Liver Support to supplement the immune system.
